COVID-19 Vaccine Facts

The providers of NFIMG recommend the COVID-19 vaccine for all patients as soon as they become available. While we do not anticipate receiving an allotment of the vaccine in our office until later this year, if you are able to obtain the vaccine through another source we recommend vaccination as soon as it is available to you.

The most up to date information regarding the allotments for Georgia providers and access to the vaccine throughout the phased release can be found on the Georgia Department of Health Website at https://dph.georgia.gov/covid-vaccine.

The CDC recommended distribution phases (and who falls into each phase 1a-3) can be found on the CDC website. https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/vaccines/recommendations.html.

Fulton County along with several other counties are planning to begin vaccinating patients 65 years of age and older as soon as January 11, 2021.
